The Seminole Ridge Community High School is two-story prototype re-use of a module that supports ease of circulation and promotes curriculum flexibility. Located on Seminole Pratt Whitney Road, the site was once an orange orchard. Safety and security were emphasized in the design by accommodating distinct student and community access points in addition to utilizing a secure courtyard with single-point monitoring. The academy-based layout brings forth learning, not only for the students but for the community as a whole. The community interaction is further addressed in site amenities including an outdoor stage, athletic fields, and open space in the courtyard to promote social events and outside dining.
