SUPERVISOR OF ELECTION
Palm Beach County

The new design for the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections building represents a forward-thinking approach to civic architecture. Situated in a strategic location, the building aims to be a beacon of democracy and transparency, providing a modernized space for efficient electoral operations while embracing the history and values of the community it serves.

The exterior design incorporates clean lines, large glass facades, and sustainable materials, blending both functionality and environmental responsibility. Solar panels and green roofing contribute to energy efficiency, while the use of local, hurricane-resistant materials ensures longevity and safety.

The building's layout is designed with accessibility in mind, featuring spacious voting areas, public meeting rooms, and private offices for the elections staff. Voters are greeted with an open, welcoming atrium that allows for natural light to flow through the space. Modern technology is seamlessly integrated into the facility to streamline the voting process, while secure storage areas for voting equipment and ballots ensure integrity and accountability.

A community plaza in front of the building creates a space for civic engagement, with educational exhibits about the electoral process and a memorial honoring the county's voting history. This design embodies the core principles of democracy—transparency, security, and public service—while positioning Palm Beach County at the forefront of modern election administration.
